The Intelliject PRGTM fulfils all the needs of today's professional RTM, VM and LRTM molder. By incorporating industrial grade programmable logic controls (PLC) in the fully automated production system, the Intelliject PRG™ provides many standard features unavailable on other machines.

Automatic functions are stored and easily accessed from the full color touch-sensitive display, which provides full control of the injection and flushing cycles, with all the machines operational features pre-programmable and monitored.

The Intelliject PRG injection machine ensures accurate repeatability of the molding process, with up to 30 individual pre-programmed injection recipes and the capability to interface with other production equipment, such as a manipulator or network data collection system. At its heart is the high precision production pumping system, which incorporates Automated Catalyst Ratio (ACR) facility for automatic adjustment of catalyst ratios, even during injection or as part of the pre-program part molding recipe. The ACR completely eliminates the need for manual catalyst adjustment at all times. The use of the ACR allows for the catalyst level to be automatically increased during the injection cycle to expedite the last resin to cure at nearly the same time as the initial resin injected.

The features of the Intelliject PRG are providing today's professional RTM molder with the needed tools to battle lowering cost and improved part quality. The fully automated function of the Intelliject PRG, provide for nearly unlimited flexibility and full system integration.

  • Automatic Controls, featuring up to 30 individual pre-programmable molding menus, each with the following variables; injection volume to 25cc resolution; injection pressure; catalyst start and finish percentages, resin injection flow rate.
  • Automatic Sprue Valve interface & post injection mix-head & sprue air-purge, flush & drying cycle, with VARIABLE air purge and solvent volume settings.
  • 'Designed for RTM' precision fluid pumps, guaranteeing accurate output between 150 gm/min & 12 kg/min.
  • Resin/Catalyst pump system with adjustable ratio between 200:1 and 30:1 (automatic adjustment with ACR).
  • In-built 20 liter. catalyst container with non-intrusive level sensing.
  • Compact injection head with automatic control of heavy duty resin & catalyst recirculation valves, featuring low post-injection mix wastage.
  • Close-loop PID Injection Pressure and Flow Rate control.
  • Full color graphical touch-sensitive display providing readjustment of machine settings in each menu.
  • Multi-level user interface with password protection.
  • Catalyst / resin Injection pressure monitoring and parameter logging.
  • Interface for 10/100 Ethernet Network connection.
  • Portable & lockable combined enclosures for controls & pump assemblies rated to NEMA 12, mounted on powder-coated steel frame.
  • ACR Pre-programmable catalyst percentages, variable for each individual recipe & during injection.
  • On board panel display timer providing accurate total injection fill times.
