Mold Manipulation:

The model EM-38-T Manipulator offers the ability to manage the opening and closing of the todays RTM or VM tooling without the expense associated with a press as used in the past. Our unique Manipulator design incorporates precision screw drives on each of the pillars and tilt, which are PLC controlled to ensure parallel movement. Operator ergonomics are optimized through our upper frame tilt feature. Clamping of the mold is achieved by perimeter manual or automated Dowel Clamps. The lower mold half rolls out on rails for 100% aerial access making it the most efficient method to demold or load the mold cavity.

Safety has been the primary focus of our full line Manipulators each has our exclusive screw drive systems for mold raise and lowering, as well as, tilting. The use of screw drives eliminates the concerns of Hydraulics or Pneumatic failures and provides absolute instant positive stops anywhere in the travel.
